Jennifer McCartney ACMA
Jennifer has 18 years experience in finance, with chartered status since 2003. Jennifer’s accounting experience is deep and varied, touching on industries including transport, health financial services and retail (internet and direct). Jennifer’s strengths lie in her proven ability to transform finance functions enabling businesses to move forward to the next level with the necessary tools and confidence to make the right management decisions.
Ria Mapp ACCA Affiliate
Leaving school in 1997, Ria worked in financial services until starting University in 2001, from which she graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. She decided to study with ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants) and has recently successfully completed all of the professional exams. She aims to apply for full ACCA membership status in the very near future. Ria has gained a wealth of experience working in various roles within Finance teams including a tourist attraction, a power station, a charity and an internet retailer. Super organised Ria can help put methodical processes in place to help simplify finance procedures and allow businesses to work more effectively and efficiently.
Jenni McNamara Accounts Assistant
Jenni has been working with JSA since early 2009 and has helped develop the business and keep us on a steady path. Previous to her career with a Management Accounting business Jenni had experience in educational support, HMRC and retail roles. Jenni is very efficient and will frequently respond to customer queries via email and telephone, this has resulted in her developing valuable relationships with many of our clients. She handles most of the payroll and book-keeping as well as managing our client deadlines. Jenni is studying her CIMA Certificate in Accounting to give her a clear understanding of the processes and to make sense of all the “accountant jargon” that Jennifer and Ria come out with.
